We aim to offer you a range that you are unlikely to see on the high st, a selection of
Vintage, Fair trade and Recycled.

Many items will be made locally and each month we will show case a local likeminded craft person, where you will get the opportunity to buy something truly individual on line.

We will be running the odd workshop with some of our creative friends, a time to come and have some you time, with a light lunch and the best bit take something home you made yourself , well, with a little help!

As we have just got going we do not have a retail outlet, and we aim to keep costs low, but we will be holding events and will bring our mobile shop with us, keep an eye on the mobile shop/events page to find us.

You can even have a party, we promise to be discreet and create a friendly, fun experience for you and your buddies and just to say thank you we will give you a special reward voucher to spend on our range.  

So what can you expect?

Fair trade
Accessories from around the world made in a fair way without the need for sweat shops,  we will often have products from companies such as ‘Hatti’ who work hard to save women from the streets of India, giving them a skill and a trade so they can become self sufficient and live a respectful life.

Recycled
Items made from recycled materials, such as shoppers, hats and much more:

Rosa and others source lovely fabric from charity shops; car boots etc and transform them into great bags and gifts!

Julie who makes bespoke pieces of jewellery from vintage often broken pieces of jewellery.

Vintage
With many of the high st shops now looking very similar and clones of each other, vintage is one of the few ways you can ensure a unique look, that is often cheap!With this in mind the rusty button brings you some great items online, home party or events, so you can go vintage in the comfort of your own home or at a party with friends!
